Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

•           Create concepts for systems integration on aircraft, interact with other teams (structure, electrical, gear and drives, etc.).

•           Create detailed 3D models for component installations, part drawings, sub-assembly drawings and installation assembly drawings.

•           Concession handling for non-conformances.

•           Management of external work packages when required by project

•           Relevant systems, not limited to: ECS, Fuel, Engine installation, Oil, Powerplant, cargo hook, windshield wipers, rotor brake, flight test instrumentation, cabin interiors, emergency floatation system.

Qualifications & experience

•           Federal Vocational Education Training Diploma or University Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering

•           Design engineering experience, minimum 5 years.

•           Must have experience with Siemens NX, minimum 2 years hands-on.

•           Systems design and integration experience on aircraft or helicopters, minimum 3 years
